Laboratory tests
In our laboratory you have the possibility to undergo the following tests: hemoglobin tests, urine tests, STDÂ tests, blood group, malaria and others.
Door-to-door hemoglobin tests
Each week we visit villages in the Kibaha Kongowe area to provide the local community with hemoglobin tests and to identify community members with anemia.
Medication
For our patients with anemia, we provide them with folic acid (the drug used against anemia). We also have the possibility of offering them other types of medication, depending on the pathologies that affect them.
Health education
During the door-to-door visits, we provide health education. We provide prevention, including nutrition counseling, and teach community members how to detect the symptoms of anemia and how to limit its effects.
